El 7 de noviembre de 1969 se edit\u00f3 en Jap\u00f3n y Estados Unidos el single \u2018Whole lotta love\u2019, procedente del segundo \u00e1lbum de la banda brit\u00e1nica Led Zeppelin <\/i>publicado un par de semanas antes, el 22 de octubre. Tambi\u00e9n se public\u00f3 como single en Alemania (donde fue n\u00ba1), Holanda, B\u00e9lgica, Francia y Espa\u00f1a. En Estados Unidos alcanz\u00f3 el 4\u00ba puesto y fue disco de oro, siendo el \u00fanico top5 de Led Zeppelin<\/i> en Estados Unidos, El riff de Jimmy Page<\/i> que iniciaba el tema fue votado \u2018el mejor riff de guitarra de todos los tiempos\u2019 por los oyentes de BBC Radio2<\/i>. Sin embargo, no le han faltado controversias a la pieza. Su letra es pr\u00e1cticamente igual a la del tema de Willie Dixon<\/i> \u2018You need love\u2019 escrito en 1962 para Muddy Waters<\/i>. En 1985 Dixon <\/i>present\u00f3 una demanda exigiendo sus derechos de autor y el asunto se zanj\u00f3 fuera de los tribunales con un acuerdo econ\u00f3mico y la inclusi\u00f3n de Dixon <\/i>entre los autores del tema, Por otro lado, el grupo brit\u00e1nico The Small Faces<\/i> ya hab\u00eda grabado en 1966 un tema muy similar llamado \u2018You need loving\u2019 para su segundo \u00e1lbum firmado por Ronnie Lane <\/i>y Steve Marriot,<\/i> en el que se inspir\u00f3 con toda seguridad Robert Plant <\/i>cuyo estilo vocal en \u2018Whole lotta love\u2019 recuerda demasiado al de Marriott <\/i>en \u2018You need loving\u2019. Curiosamente, los Small Faces <\/i>jam\u00e1s recibieron demanda alguna de Dixon<\/i>, a quien los seguidores de Led Zeppelin<\/i> reprochaban haber esperado 17 a\u00f1os para reclamar sus derechos.\u00a0<\/div>\n

El 7 de noviembre de 1978 se public\u00f3 el sexto \u00e1lbum del cantante country Kenny Rogers<\/i> publicado por United Artists<\/i> y producido por Larry Butler,<\/i> quiz\u00e1s el m\u00e1s conocido a nivel internacional. Tanto el tema que dio t\u00edtulo al \u00e1lbum escrito por Don Schlitz <\/i>como \u2018She believes in me\u2019 de Steve Gibb<\/i> fueron n\u00ba1 en las listas country <\/i>y top20 y top5 respectivamente en el Hot100, lo que permiti\u00f3 a Rogers ser conocido m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de los c\u00edrculos country <\/i>y consagrarse como uno de los artistas de mayor \u00e9xito de los a\u00f1os 70 y 80.\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n
