El 21 de octubre de 1970 se public\u00f3 el und\u00e9cimo \u00e1lbum de Bob Dylan<\/i> titulado \u2018New Morning\u2019, un \u00e1lbum que parec\u00eda anunciar la vuelta del genio tras los decepcionantes \u2018Selfportrait\u2019 y \u2018Nashville Skyline\u2019. Aunque la mayor\u00eda de las canciones de \u2018New Morning\u2019 proced\u00edan de sesiones anteriores a los dos citados, se trataba de composiciones nuevas y bajo la direcci\u00f3n de Al Kooper<\/i>, los m\u00fasicos que participaron en el \u00e1lbum mostraron un af\u00e1n de experimentar con nuevos sonidos, ausente desde \u2018Blonde on Blonde\u2019. Dylan<\/i> cambia la guitarra por el piano y ofrece una docena de canciones cuyas letras giran alrededor de temas como el adi\u00f3s a los a\u00f1os j\u00f3venes (\u2019One more weekend\u2019, \u2018Sign on the window\u2019), vivencias personales y canciones autobiogr\u00e1ficas (\u2019New morning\u2019, \u2018Day of the locusts\u2019, \u2018Went to see the gypsy\u2019), baladas destinadas a Sara <\/i>(\u2018The man in me\u2019, \u2018If not for you\u2019) y cuestiones religiosas (\u2019Three angels\u2019 y Father of night\u2019) que comenzaban a asomar con fuerza entre los principales intereses de Dylan<\/i>. \u2018If dogs run free\u2019 es una pieza de jazz-blues <\/i>que se sal\u00eda del tono general del disco, en la que la cantante Maeretha Stewart<\/i> improvisaba sobre la letra y el m\u00fasico se preguntaba porqu\u00e9 no somos tan libres como los perros vagabundos. Solo se edit\u00f3 un single del \u00e1lbum con el tema \u2018If not for you\u2019 que Dylan <\/i>lleg\u00f3 a ensayar con George Harrison<\/i> en los conciertos de Bangla Desh aunque no lo tocaron en directo. Harrison incluir\u00eda una versi\u00f3n en su triple \u00e1lbum \u2018All Things Must Pass\u2019. \u2018New Morning\u2019 fue n\u00ba1 en las listas brit\u00e1nicas, mientras que en Estados Unidos no pas\u00f3 del puesto 7.\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n
