El 7 de octubre de 1977 se edit\u00f3 el sencillo ‘We will rock you’ del grupo Queen<\/i>, como adelanto del \u00e1lbum ‘News of the World’, publicado el 28 de octubre. Escrita por el guitarrista Brian May<\/i>, en 2009 fue incluida en el Grammy Hall of Fame. Adem\u00e1s de los 30 segundos del solo de guitarra final, la canci\u00f3n est\u00e1 cantada a capella, acompa\u00f1ada \u00fanicamente por golpes y palmadas como base de ritmo. En la otra cara del disco se inclu\u00eda el tema ‘We are the Chanpions’ que muchas emisoras emit\u00edan a continuaci\u00f3n de ‘We will rock you’ sin interrupci\u00f3n como lo har\u00edan los propios Queen <\/i>en sus shows en directo. Desde su aparici\u00f3n, ambos temas han sido versionados, remezclados, sampleados o parodiados por numerosos artistas y han sido utilizados en otros tantos shows de TV, pel\u00edculas y otros medios. Por otro lado, gracias a su sencillez, se han convertido en himnos en los estadios y competiciones deportivas en todo el mundo. En 2017, conmemorando el 40 aniversario de la publicaci\u00f3n de ‘News of the World’, Queen public\u00f3 una versi\u00f3n diferente de ‘We will rock you’ procedente de aquellas sesiones con otro solo de guitarra.<\/div>\n
