El 1 de octubre de 1971 se public\u00f3 en el sello Island Records<\/i> el quinto \u00e1lbum del brit\u00e1nico Cat Stevens<\/i>. Aunque la mayor\u00eda de los cr\u00edticos consideran su \u00e1lbum anterior una obra superior a \u00e9ste, fue \u2018Teaser and the firecat\u2019 el que cal\u00f3 m\u00e1s hondo en su p\u00fablico con temas como \u2018Moonshadow\u2019, \u2018Morning has broken\u2019 (basado en un himno religioso con piano interpretado por Rick Wakeman<\/i>), \u2018Rubylove\u2019 en el que hace honor a sus ra\u00edces griegas y \u2018Peace train\u2019, su primer top10 en USA. El \u00e1lbum fue n\u00ba2 en las listas americanas y brit\u00e1nicas y es el trabajo de estudio m\u00e1s vendido de Cat Stevens<\/i>.\u00a0<\/div>\n

El 1 de octubre de 1982 se public\u00f3 en el sello Warner Bros.<\/i> el \u00e1lbum debut en solitario de Donald Fagen<\/i>, \u2018The Nightfly\u2019, para muchos su mejor obra. Producido por Gary Katz<\/i>, fue uno de los primeros discos que se grabaron con t\u00e9cnica digital. Tanto Katz <\/i>como el ingeniero Roger Nichols<\/i> hab\u00edan trabajado antes con Fagen <\/i>en los siete \u00e1lbumes de Steely Dan<\/i>. El m\u00fasico cont\u00f3 en su primer trabajo sin su hasta entonces socio inseparable Walter Becker<\/i>, con la colaboraci\u00f3n de un total de 31 m\u00fasicos habituales en sesiones de Steely Dan<\/i>, entre ellos Michael <\/i>y Randy Brecker, Rick Derringer, Steve Jordan, Larry Carlton<\/i> y Marcus Miller<\/i>. El resultado fue una producci\u00f3n redonda alabada por los cr\u00edticos y considerado uno de los diez discos mejor grabados de la historia del pop. Muchos t\u00e9cnicos de sonido han usado el \u00e1lbum para probar la respuesta y ecualizaci\u00f3n de los equipos de sonorizaci\u00f3n en los directos. Los ocho temas que conformaban el vinilo original eran en su mayor\u00eda autobiogr\u00e1ficos y versaban sobre los a\u00f1os adolescentes del m\u00fasico en Nueva Jersey.\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n
