Recordemos que su concierto del 16 de septiembre en el Rogers Stadium de Toronto, Ontario (Canad\u00e1), tambi\u00e9n se suspendi\u00f3 debido a los \u00abgraves da\u00f1os\u00bb que una tormenta provoc\u00f3 en el recinto antes de la fecha prevista para la actuaci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\">\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\">\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\">\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\">\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">En una entrevista con la revista <a href=\"https:\/\/nowspinning.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Now Spinning<\/a>, el guitarrista <strong>Ritchie Blackmore<\/strong> ha hablado de forma extensa sobre su reencuentro con <strong>Deep Purple<\/strong> sobre un escenario. Fue el 12 de agosto en Nueva York.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Resumiendo, as\u00ed ha contado la experiencia: \u00abTodo el mundo fue muy servicial all\u00ed, casi fue excesivo, muy amables todos. Sub\u00ed al escenario a tocar \u00abSmoke on the water\u00bb sin hacer prueba de sonido, lo que me desconcert\u00f3 un poco, porque me gusta hacerla. Pero, gracias a Dios, mi t\u00e9cnico la hizo por m\u00ed y el sonido era bueno. Mis tres o cuatro minutos del tema <strong>se recibieron como si acabara de inventar la cura contra el c\u00e1ncer<\/strong>. La gente se volvi\u00f3 loca. Me sent\u00ed muy bien porque fue como tocar con viejos amigos. Hab\u00edan pasado unos 35 a\u00f1os desde la \u00faltima vez que toqu\u00e9 con la banda y nadie hab\u00eda cambiado. Me sent\u00ed como uno de aquellos soldados que hab\u00edan regresado del frente occidental y todo el mundo pensaba que estaba muerto. Y all\u00ed estaba yo: vivo\u201d. (El ejemplo del \u2018frente occidental\u2019 se refiere a uno de los escenarios m\u00e1s sangrientos de la Primera Guerra Mundial y ya lo hab\u00eda puesto en otras declaraciones).<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ha a\u00f1adido <strong>Blackmore<\/strong>: \u201cMe sent\u00ed como una celebridad, y yo no soy una persona de ese tipo, simplemente toco la guitarra: a veces bien, a veces no tan bien. Mereci\u00f3 mucho la pena.
