LP ‘LOVE AND THEFT’<\/a><\/b> (Bob Dylan<\/i>)<\/div>\n
El 11 de septiembre de 2001 se public\u00f3 en Estados Unidos el trig\u00e9simo primer \u00e1lbum de estudio de Bob Dylan,<\/i> ‘Love and Theft’, su trabajo de mayor \u00e9xito y mejor recibido por la cr\u00edtica en 20 a\u00f1os. La revista Rolling Stone<\/i> lo nombr\u00f3 ‘\u00e1lbum del a\u00f1o’ y otras como Mojo<\/i> y Uncut<\/i> lo situaron entre los tres primeros. El \u00e1lbum lleg\u00f3 a ser top5 en USA y Reino Unido y fue galardonado con un Grammy al mejor \u00e1lbum de folk tradicional. La fiesta de presentaci\u00f3n oficial para los medios proyectada por Sony <\/i>para la tarde-noche de ese d\u00eda, hubo de suspenderse debido a los ataques terroristas sobre las Torres Gemelas sucedidos aquella misma ma\u00f1ana.<\/div>\n
Algunos cr\u00edticos llegan a comparar ‘Love and Theft’ con su gran trabajo del 66, ‘Blonde on Blonde’. Como en aquel, varios temas del \u00e1lbum se compusieron o completaron en el estudio durante las sesiones celebradas en los estudios Sony de Nueva York durante dos semanas del mes de mayo de 2001, en las que Bob cumpl\u00eda 60 a\u00f1os. Asimismo las letras, que no hab\u00edan perdido su fuerza de anta\u00f1o, trataban temas actuales y en ellas Dylan logra una mezcla perfecta de blues <\/i>y Biblia, Shakespeare<\/i> y Darwin<\/i>, baladas y canciones folk, Scott Fitzgerald<\/i> y Robert Johnson<\/i>, R&B<\/i> y jazz<\/i>, Groucho Marx<\/i> y literatura japonesa… sin olvidar por supuesto el rock and roll<\/i>. Musicalmente, los temas tambi\u00e9n son variados: desde temas blues rock<\/i> como ‘Honest with me’ hasta baladas al estilo Cole Porter,<\/i> como ‘Bye and bye’ y ‘Moonlight’. De la producci\u00f3n se encarg\u00f3 por primera vez exclusivamente el propio Dylan que utiliz\u00f3 para ello su seud\u00f3nimo Jack Frost.\u00a0<\/i>Para muchos seguidores del m\u00fasico, su \u00e1lbum anterior, ‘Time Out of Mind’ hab\u00eda sido la \u00faltima gran obra de Dylan<\/i> y ya se daban por satisfechos por contar a esas alturas con un buen trabajo del cantautor. Con la aparici\u00f3n de ‘Love and Theft’, todos ellos se frotaban los ojos maravillados por la capacidad creativa y regenerativa del m\u00fasico.<\/div>\n
Un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s de la publicaci\u00f3n de ‘Love and Theft’ apareci\u00f3 en el Wall Street Journal<\/i> un art\u00edculo en el que se acusaba a Dylan<\/i> de haber plagiado textos del libro ‘Confesiones de un Yakuza’ escrito por Junichi Saga <\/i>en 1991. Desatado el esc\u00e1ndalo, el mismo autor japon\u00e9s no tard\u00f3 en manifestar que consideraba los paralelismos y semejanzas de sus textos con los de Dylan \u00abm\u00e1s un homenaje que un plagio\u00bb<\/i>. Tambi\u00e9n el director del New York Times, Jon Pareles<\/i>, sali\u00f3 en su defensa y explic\u00f3 que Bob siempre se ha inspirado en fuentes de diversa procedencia, las cuales suele reunir y sintetizar en un contexto personal.\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n
