LP 1971: \u2018FUTURE GAMES\u2019<\/a><\/b> (Fleetwood Mac<\/i>)<\/div>\n
El 3 de septiembre de 1971 se public\u00f3 el quinto \u00e1lbum de estudio de la banda brit\u00e1nica Fleetwood Mac<\/i>. Con la marcha del guitarrista Jeremy Spencer<\/i>, sustituido por el estadounidense Bob Welch <\/i>y la incorporaci\u00f3n definitiva de Christine McVie <\/i>a la formaci\u00f3n, poco quedaba ya del blues que practicaba la banda fundada por Peter Green<\/i> y el sonido de Fleetwood Mac<\/i> se aproximaba cada vez m\u00e1s al pop rock mel\u00f3dico que los har\u00eda mundialmente conocidos unos a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde. Fue el primer \u00e1lbum de la banda que no entr\u00f3 en las listas inglesas. En Estados Unidos en cambio, vendi\u00f3 500.000 copias logrando all\u00ed un disco de oro.<\/div>\n

LP 1990: \u2018LISTEN WITHOUT PREJUDICE VOL. 1′<\/a><\/b> (George Michael<\/i>)<\/div>\n
El 3 de septiembre de 1990 se public\u00f3 el segundo \u00e1lbum en solitario del cantautor pop George Michael<\/i>. Producido por \u00e9l mismo, fue n\u00ba1 en el Reino Unido, donde repiti\u00f3 las ventas de su \u00e1lbum debut \u2018Faith\u2019. En Estados Unidos en cambio, tras el gran \u00e9xito que all\u00ed tuvo \u2018Faith\u2019 con 7 millones de copias vendidas, los dos millones que vendi\u00f3 \u2018Listen Without Prejudice\u2019 supusieron un fracaso comercial que Michael achac\u00f3 a la falta de confianza de la compa\u00f1\u00eda discogr\u00e1fica Sony en su talento como compositor y por consiguiente a la pobre promoci\u00f3n que recibi\u00f3 el disco. Esta falta de entendimiento llev\u00f3 a ambos a entablar batallas legales que supusieron que Michael no pudiera publicar material nuevo hasta 1996. Estaba previsto que a este \u00e1lbum, en el que prevalec\u00edan las baladas y temas folk-rock le seguir\u00eda el Volumen 2 con temas m\u00e1s movidos, pero \u00e9ste nunca vio la luz. De los cinco singles que se extrajeron, \u2018Praying for time\u2019 fue n\u00ba1 en USA y \u2018Freedom! \u201890\u2019 top10. En 1990 George Michael<\/i> estaba harto de su sobreexposici\u00f3n en los medios y decidi\u00f3 no aparecer ante las c\u00e1maras, por lo que no apareci\u00f3 en los v\u00eddeos promocionales. El que se rod\u00f3 para \u2018Freedom! \u201890\u2019 estaba protagonizado por cinco top models femeninas que hab\u00edan aparecido juntas en una portada del Vogue <\/i>brit\u00e1nico en enero de 1990: Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Tatjana Patitz, Christy Turlington<\/i> y Cindy Crawford<\/i>, acompa\u00f1adas de cinco modelos masculinos (John Pearson, Scott Benoit, Mario Sorrenti, Peter Formby<\/i>\u00a0y Todo Segalla<\/i>), haciendo todos ellos un play-back<\/i> del tema. En \u00e9l Michael muestra adem\u00e1s la destrucci\u00f3n de los tres iconos que hab\u00edan simbolizado hasta entonces su imagen p\u00fablica: su cazadora de cuero, el reproductor de discos Wurlitzer <\/i>y la guitarra.\u00a0<\/div>\n
