UU.), acompa\u00f1ado por miembros de su familia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A principios del presente mes <strong>Beard<\/strong> dej\u00f3 la gira \u00abThe big one!\u00bb de <strong>ZZ Top<\/strong> debido a problemas de salud. El guitarrista y cantante Billy Gibbons y el bajista Elwood Francis continuaron dando los conciertos programados con el bater\u00eda <strong>Michael Monahan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>La banda ha suspendido las citas de ayer y hoy -18 y 19 de agosto-, pero anuncia que seguir\u00e1 con normalidad la gira desde el 22 de este mismo mes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Billy Gibbons<\/strong> ha declarado: \u00abHoy, Elwood y yo hemos perdido a un gran amigo y colaborador, y el mundo ha perdido a uno de los bater\u00edas m\u00e1s innovadores por naturaleza y a un gran y aut\u00e9ntico hijo de Texas. Su caracter\u00edstico ritmo de acompa\u00f1amiento fue fundamental para mantener a \u2018ZZ\u2019 en lo m\u00e1s alto. Ahora ocurre lo mismo: s\u00f3lo cuatro d\u00edas despu\u00e9s del fallecimiento de uno de sus miembros fundadores, la actividad de la banda en directo se reanudar\u00e1. Esto significa que nuestros lectores de M\u00e9xico y Sudam\u00e9rica podr\u00e1n ver al grupo en sus fechas previamente anunciadas. Una vez completadas quince citas en EE. UU. en lo que queda de agosto, septiembre y principios de octubre, ZZ Top aterrizar\u00e1 en Guadalajara (9 de noviembre), Ciudad de M\u00e9xico (11) y Monterrey (12) para luego visitar Santiago -Chile-, Porto Alegre, Curitiba, Sao Paulo -Brasil- y Buenos Aires (Argentina). Ya s\u00f3lo podr\u00e1n ver al tr\u00edo con uno de los tres m\u00fasicos originales.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Frank Beard<\/strong> ha sido miembro de ZZ Top durante m\u00e1s de 55 a\u00f1os y \u00a0grab\u00f3 todos los discos de la banda desde el estreno \u00abZZ top\u2019s first album\u00bb de 1971.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Una de las curiosidades m\u00e1s comentadas durante toda la carrera de ZZ Top fue que, a pesar de apellidarse \u2018Barba\u2019 (Beard), el bater\u00eda era el \u00fanico miembro que no la ten\u00eda y luc\u00eda \u00fanicamente bigote, aunque durante una etapa de la d\u00e9cada de los noventa s\u00ed llev\u00f3 una barba bien cuidada, no larga como la de sus compa\u00f1eros.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Frank<\/strong> resid\u00eda en Richmond, Tejas, donde era propietario del <em>Top 40 Ranch<\/em>, que \u00e9l mismo gestionaba.
